What is a Move Coach?
A move coach should be someone who is an expert in moving (like I am). We use our experience and unique expertise to guide people through their own moves. Turning overwhelming and stressful moves into a more simplified move experience, bringing clarity and ease to usually confusing and over stimulating situation.
How are the consultation calls made?
Consultations are made through the Signal app - an encrypted messaging/voice call app. Or through meetn - which is an online conferencing app. If you choose meetn, a consultation invite will be sent via email. Signal does require you to have the app downloaded and setup on your phone. Meetn does not.
Can you summarize the move coaching process for me?
Sure! First we start with the 30 minute Clarity Call, booked on my website. We will discuss the parameters of your move and I will describe each of the packages. You choose a package you would like, and I email you an invoice. Once the invoice is paid in full, I will email you a moving questionnaire. You complete it and email it back to me before your first consultation. In your 50 minute consultation we will discuss the more intricate details of your move, as well as going through your completed moving questionnaire. I will then email your Personalized Moving Plan to you within 7 business days. Also attached to that email will be your bonus PDF: ‘Tips and Tricks For Packing Safely So Nothing Gets Broken or Lost’. Should you choose the Premium Package or the Ultimate Package, an email sent at a later date will also contain your personalized Research Report. Which will contain all of the research categories we discussed, including company quotes and/or resource links. The subsequent 50 minute consultations in those packages are used to address any changes to your move. Depending on the package you select, you also receive email support. Emails are answered by myself, and are offered for the timeframe noted for each package.
What if I don’t know which package best suits my moving needs?
After your Free 30 minute Clarity Call, I will have a much better understanding of your specific situation, and you will have a much better understanding of the packages. If requested, I am happy to recommend which package best matches your individual circumstances.
What if I don’t know my move date yet?
Not problem at all. There are still plenty of things to get done while you are working towards confirming your intended move. You can also pause your package for up to 90 days should something arise.
What if my move date changes after we have already started?
If your move date moves forward, no problem, you already have everything that needs to be completed in your Personalized Moving Plan. You’ll just need to manage your time to ensure everything gets completed within your new timeframe.
If your move date gets pushed out, your Personalized Moving Plan is easily adjusted. You also have the option to pause your package for up to 90 days.
Regardless, the Ultimate Package allows for one revision of the Personalized Moving Plan to allow for these kinds if changes.
How long does it take to receive the Personalized Moving Plan?
You should receive your Personalized Moving Plan within 7 business days after your first 50 minute consultation, via the email you provided. If you have not received it within 7 BUSINESS days, please check your Junk or Spam email folder first, if you still do not see it, please contact me directly on the Signal App or email.
What is the Client Priority Service?
Think of it as First-Class Service. When you’re travelling, First-Class or VIP gets priority check-in, priority boarding, all the bells and whistles to make your experience that much more comfortable and easy. It’s the same thing here. As an Ultimate Package client, you’ll receive first priority for booking consultations, your Personalized Moving Plan jumps to the front of the line and completed first, your emails are answered first, your email support hours are extended both in days and hours, the number of emails answered are UNLIMITED.
Why is the Ultimate Package priced how it is?
See the previous question and answer first. And adding to that, it also includes UNLIMITED research hours. Should your move seem to be quite complicated, chances are a lot of research will be needed. The Premium Package is maxed out at 2 hours, but the Ultimate Package allows for the time needed to flesh out more complex moves. Also, if you really just do not have the time (or simply don’t want to do the research) this allows for collecting important information for a detailed move.
How do I schedule a consultation?
One every page of my website there is a button or link called “Book a Consultation”. Once you click it, you will be forwarded to my booking calendar. Select a day and time from my calendar that best suits your availability. You can schedule both the Free 30 minute Clarity Call, and the 50 minute consultations using that calendar. If you are having any issues, please contact me via email.
How do I cancel or reschedule a consultation?
Through the confirmation email you received, you can cancel or reschedule your consultation. Please keep in mind the refund policy, see next question below.
What is your refund policy?
All funds are 100% NON-REFUNDABLE. All funds are due before the start of the first consultation.
What is the payment process?
After the Free 30 minute Clarity Call, you let me know which package you would like to purchase. I will send you an invoice through QuickBooks to the email address you have provided. You can use any method you like to make payment, including credit card, bank account, PayPal or Venmo. Payment in full is due before your first consultation.
Do you accept payment plans?
In some extenuating circumstances, I may choose to allow a payment plan. This is fully at my own discretion.
What currency are the prices on your website?
All prices are in US Dollars.
